what was in the way.
Designed and built Task Decomposer end-to-end as a solo product for ADHD task paralysis. Users dump a messy goal by typing or voice, and the app returns ordered micro-steps with recursive breakdown (capped at three levels), a short focus timer, gentle progress tracking, and local-first privacy. Shipped a full marketing experience with an interactive live demo, Early Access funnel, community roadmap voting, native-app waitlist, and ADHD-focused content guides — all crafted in Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
- 01Most planners assume users already know the next step — ADHD users freeze on vague, oversized goals
- 02Typing friction and working-memory overload make traditional to-do apps feel like more work
- 03Personal task data needs strong trust and privacy without blocking AI-assisted breakdown
- 04Shipping a full solo product spanning demo, marketing, Early Access, and roadmap as one cohesive experience
three beats, one system.
- (01)a messy thought
- (02)one small action
- (03)a little momentum
- Micro-step AI decomposition with recursive child steps and a three-level depth cap to prevent over-planning
- Voice capture, on-screen checklists, short focus sessions, and undo-friendly UX that lowers start friction
- Local-first architecture that keeps task history on-device and only sends task text needed for AI breakdown
- Built the landing and interactive demo with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion for a fast, polished release
